It is not that helpful to try and suggest features for an "advanced" website as, by their very nature, they tend to vary greatly depending on the type of business concerned.
So, an advanced website with me would have all the features of both the "starter" and "intermediate" website packages detailed below...
... in addition, through a careful discussion and analyses of your website requirements I would make an initial, costed, website proposal. The additional features might include things like:
- Blogging ability for staff members, business partners and even customers.
- Online booking systems (restaurants / hotels etc.).
- Online calendar functions allowing partners/clients to appreciate availability of staff.
- Online support request systems - allocating work to relevant staff and keeping customer updated.
- Sophisticated categorisation of large amounts of content - along with an efficient navigation of this content (drop-down menus and sub-menus etc).
- True web 2.0 features - whereby customers can enter into a two-way communication with your business - customer comments, blogs, private messaging etc...
- CRM (customer relationship management) features that allow your business to manage the relationship efficiently.
- File downloads and file uploads. Perhaps controlled by a permission system - perhaps even as part of an e-commerce solution where access to files is on a subscription basis.
- Full e-commerce ability (selling online).
The list really does go on and on and on.... and, as mentioned, it is impossible to generalise for an advanced site.
