This is a hands-on Drupal training course. You will gain a thorough understanding of how Drupal & Ubercart work together to build robust, flexible, comprehensive and extremely cost-effective e-commerce solutions. The course covers Ubercart installation, product creation and organisation, integration with payment gateways like WorldPay, PayPal, Google Checkout and more besides.

  • Understand how to install and configure the Ubercart module
  • Create product catalogs
  • Understand the cart and checkout process
  • Understand product classes
  • Set-up shipping and sales taxes
  • Theme product and catalog pages
  • Integrate your e-commerce website with popular payment gateways: Paypal, Google Checkout etc.
  • Perform all the major tasks needed to get an online shop up and running
Requirements: 
  • Attendees provide their own Internet-ready laptop (Drupal installation is included as part of each course).
  • Attendees simply need to be comfortable using a computer and a browser (downloading files from Internet etc.)
  • SOME PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OF DRUPAL NECESSARY
